Campus
ToursStudent guided walking tours of the campus, approximately one hour in length, are available year-round at a variety of times. No advance appointment is necessary for these tours. Tours depart from the Admissions Office Reception Room on the second floor of McNutt Hall. If you would like to see our virtual tour, click here.
See the Calendar for a more specific listing of dates and times. If you are interested in touring any other facilities in depth, such as the Thayer School of Engineering, make contact with those offices directly.
Please Note: If you plan to visit Dartmouth with a group of more than 10 students, please call 603-646-2875 to request a tour. We recommend that you contact our office at least one month in advance of your visit. We will do our best to accommodate large groups but in the event that we are unable to accommodate your visit, we will be happy to provide you with a self-guided tour and campus maps. We can not accommodate large groups when classes are not in session nor during the month of April.
The Group Information Session provides a valuable introduction and orientation for the applicant and his or her family. During this 30-minute session, an Admissions Officer will focus on the admissions and financial aid procedures. Ample time will be reserved for questions. The Group Information Sessions are held in the Admissions Office on the second floor of McNutt Hall.
No advance appointment is necessary for these sessions, which are held weekdays from January through mid-November. From September through mid-November, the Admissions Office also offers a special series of Group Information Sessions every Saturday morning at 10:45 am.
