Anna M. Adachi-Mejia, Ph.D., Leader
Anna's research interests focus on promoting healthy behaviors through understanding how community and environment interact to provide barriers to or support for healthy choices. She has multiple community-engaged leadership roles at Dartmouth, including leading Dartmouth's Prevention Research Center, known as the Health Promotion Research Center at Dartmouth, as well as being the Leader of the Dartmouth Toxic Metals Superfund Research Program Community Engagement Core. Her leadership includes collaborations with partners in academic, community, and non-profit organizations across the country. Dr. Adachi-Mejia teaches at The Dartmouth Institute as the Co-Director of the Capstone course and she is a supporting faculty member of the Survey Research Methods course for graduate students. She also facilitates virtual and in-person Think Tanks on selected topics to bridge connections across scientists and community members.
