What is RAPPORT?

RAPPORT is a web-based integrated research administration system that will automate key research administration activities including:

  • proposal development, routing, approval, and submission
  • review of human subjects studies review and approvals
  • conflict of interest management

How do I access it?

Go to https://rapport.dartmouth.edu

If you connecting from off-campus, you will not need to use VPN (i.e. Network Connect) to access the application. Just type rapport.dartmouth.edu into your web browser and you will be taken to the login screen. You will need your Dartmouth NETID and network password.

What if I don't know my Net ID and/or have forgotten my password?

To find your NET ID, go to https://www.dartmouth.edu/comp/systems/netid.html

If you have forgotten your password, you can reset this by going to https://www.dartmouth.edu/comp/systems/accounts/passwords/dartmouth-passwords.html#reset

Which browsers work with RAPPORT?

RAPPORT is a web based application and the type and version of browser does make a difference.
Supported browsers include the following:

Microsoft Windows (all versions) Internet Explorer 7, 8 & 9
Firefox 7 or later
Chrome * or later
 Apple Mac OS X 10.4x or later Safari 4 or later
Firefox 3 or later
 Apple iOS 4.2** or later (iPhone and iPad) Safari *

* If you install a theme in Chrome,vertical scrollbars might disappear in pop-up windows.

** Limited testing has been done on Safari on iOS and Click Portal seems to function as expected. On iOS 4.2, the SmartForm JumpTo menu does not scroll when in the DHTML mode. This is not a problem on iOS5.

How do I update my profile (email, address, contact info)?

To edit contact information

  1. Click<YourFirstName_YourLastName> in the top right of the page.

  2. You can edit your title, zip code, degree types and year and agency credentials (required for submission)
  3. Fill in the form provided and click Apply to save your changes.

To make additional changes, you will need to make your request through your Financial center. This may include your title, office phone, office location, or name changes. This information is fed to a central system which is NOT editable by anyone.
