Ann: "I remember that after the war the place [Dartmouth] was inundated with women. You know, during the war, women had no stores, nothing was done for women and then all these men came back and got married."

Ann: "They built a snow statue in front of Wigwam Circle and it was a stork."

George: "And one day, you saw that the stork had collapsed."

Ann: "He was overworked."
