Fred: "I was fifteen when I entered.… I was small to begin with … and socially it was difficult. … I remember one time at the fraternity when I was still sixteen and I had a date and she was eighteen or nineteen and one of my fraternity brothers or prospective fraternity brothers let it slip that I was only sixteen and that's a big age difference at that time in your life."
