Ted: “Ernest Martin Hopkins made an announcement that, 'For all pre-engineers, pre-meds: Because you have so many credit hours, I am going to try to convince the Board of Trustees to let the College give you your degree if you pass your first semester in your special school, your advanced school.' My degree, which came nicely done by mail, is signed by Nelson Rockefeller because he was the chairman of the Board of Trustees and by Ernest Martin Hopkins.”
