Stanley: "When it came to fraternities in sophomore year there was one Jewish house on campus and the only bid that I got was from that Jewish house to join. I looked at the situation and I said, 'No, I don’t want to be involved with just Jews as it is and I don’t want to compound the felony and join what was considered a ghetto of sorts.' So I refused to join. So I did not join any fraternity."
