Grandmother’s Breakfast Cereal Recipe

    • 8 Cups Old Fashioned Oatmeal (Not "Cooks in 1 Minute" kind)
    • 1 Cup Coconut
    • 1 Cup Brown Sugar
    • 1 Cup Raisins
    • 1 Cup Wheat Germ (it comes in a glass jar)
    • 1 Cup Chopped Walnuts
    • 1 Cup Vegetable Oil
    • 2/3 Cup Honey


Mix dry ingredients together

Then Combine the Oil and Honey, and add to dry Ingredients, mixing well

Spread onto a non-stick or greased cookie sheet and toast at 350 degrees for 10 - 12 minutes

Stir lightly after 5 minutes. Leaving big lumps.

Be careful NOT to burn
