Cracker Candy

Ingredients:

        • 1 C butter melted
        • 1 C brown sugar
        • 40 saltines
        • 1 pkg semi sweet chips
        • ½ C chopped nuts
        • cracker candy

Directions:

1.PREHEAT OVEN TO 400

2.Line a mid size cookie sheet with foil.

3.Spread saltines out on the sheet in a single layer.

4.Melt butter and brown sugar in sauce pan, Stirring continuously.

5.Wait for boil, then boil for 5 minutes.

Poor sugar mixture over the crackers and spread evenly.

Put in oven and bake for 5 minutes, or until bubbly.

Note: (WATCH IT! IT MAY BURN QUICKLY)

Take sheet out of oven and sprinkle chips on top, wait for them to melt or put them in the warm oven for 1 min.

Remove from the oven then spread the chocolate until smooth.

Sprinkle with the nuts and press them into the chocolate or they will fall off.

Chill in fridge or on porch

Then peal off the foil and break into brittle size pieces.
