Sour Cream Apple Pie

Sour Cream Apple Pie

Ingredients:

Pie:

  • 1 pie crust, homemade or store-bought
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbs flour
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 cups chopped apples

Topping:

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 6 Tbs flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter

Directions:

1.Pre-bake crust at 350° for 7 mins.

2.Combine sugar and 2 Tbs flour.

3.Add sour cream, egg, vanilla, and salt and mix until smooth.

4.Stir in chopped apples.

5.Pour into pre-baked pie crust and bake at 450° for 30 minutes.

6.Combine brown sugar, 6 Tbs flour, cinnamon, and butter (mixture will be crumbly).

7.Spread over top of pie. Bake for 10 more minutes at 450°.
