Baker Library Tower Room

Tower Room Hours

The Tower Room in Baker Library is a cozy study area with a browsing collection of mysteries, thrillers, popular novels, and classics, as well as books on sports, art, travel, and humor. This quiet space on the top floor of Baker also holds a copy of a portrait of William Legge, Second Earl of Dartmouth, who supported Eleazar Wheelock's Indian Charity School in Lebanon, Connecticut, and after whom Wheelock named the College. On a sunny day or a snowy evening, the Tower Room's armchairs offer inspiring views over the Green.
