Outstanding/In-process issues

Listed below are projects and issues, not mentioned in other recommendations, that need to be addressed or completed by those responsible for catalog maintenance.

  1. Holdings - convert holdings to use MARC holdings standard.
  2. Location Limit – waiting for completion of the location code revisions currently in progress but not complete.
  3. Supress varlo – Payment records (varlo records) for variously located monographic series titles need to be suppressed from the public view of the catalog.
  4. Bibliographic record display labels function adequately but need to be refined to describe a wider range of MARC tags.
  5. Diacritics in keyword search are a problem. We have an open call to Innovative and are waiting for a solution.
  6. View additional volumes doesn't function in IE on Macintosh.  We have an open call to Innovative and are waiting for a solution.
  7. Series/ISSN hot linking problem. A call to the Innovative Help Desk will be opened and will need to be monitored.
  8. Duplicate hits in browse. A call to the Innovative Help Desk will be opened and will need to be monitored.
  9. Customize the request item form with information about who is able to use it.  (Waiting for a bug fix from Innovative.)
