Meet the Team:

Alice Ruth

ALICE A. RUTH '83

Alice A. Ruth, Chief Investment Officer, oversees the DCIO and the management of the College's endowment. Previously, she served as CIO for Willett Advisors, the investment adviser for former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg's Bloomberg Family Office and the Bloomberg Family Foundation. Prior to Willett, she served in the same capacity for Bloomberg at Quadrangle Group. Before Quadrangle, she was CIO for the $6 billion Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. Prior to Moore, she spent 12 years at Montgomery Securities as a senior managing director and co-director of equity research. After graduating from Dartmouth with an AB degree in economics, Alice started her career at Morgan Stanley as an economic analyst, focused primarily on Federal Reserve and monetary policy. She is a trustee of Deerfield Academy and of the U.S. Ski Team Foundation.

 

 

Kelsey M. Morgan

KELSEY M. MORGAN '02, T'08

Kelsey Morgan, Deputy Chief Investment Officer, focuses on broad portfolio strategy, global equities and fixed income. Kelsey joined the DCIO in 2012. Prior to Dartmouth, Kelsey was an associate director at Willett Advisors where he assisted with manager selection and portfolio construction for the group's fixed income and public equity portfolios. Previously, Kelsey held positions with Investor Group Services in Boston, MA and Nautic Partners in Providence, RI. Kelsey graduated from Dartmouth College with an AB degree in 2002 and earned an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College in 2008 where he was a Tuck Scholar.

 

JESSICA JONES

Jessica Jones, Managing Director for Hedge Funds, joined the DCIO in February 2018 after almost a decade at HighVista Strategies where she was a principal focusing on the external manager portfolio across public and private strategies. Previously, she held positions at Grove Street and Battery Ventures. Jessica graduated summa cum laude with an AB degree from Princeton University in 2001. Jessica is Chair of the alumni schools committee for the western suburbs of Boston for the Princeton admissions office. Jessica co-founded and currently runs NextGen LPs, an industry networking association. She is on the investment committee for the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center.

 

 Michael Sullivan

MICHAEL P. SULLIVAN '91, T'97

Mike Sullivan, Managing Director for Private Equity and Venture Capital, joined the DCIO in 2011. Prior to Dartmouth, Mike was a partner at FLAG Capital Management, a private equity and venture capital fund-of-funds. Mike also worked at Cambridge Associates from 1997-2000, and in the Columbia University Investment Office. Mike graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College with an AB degree in 1991 and earned an MBA with Distinction from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College in 1997. Mike also serves on the Board of Directors of Father Flanagan’s Fund for Needy Children, which provides support to Boys Town.

 

 Heather Huff

Heather Huff is the Chief Operating Officer for the DCIO. Prior to joining Dartmouth in 2008, Heather was a manager in the asset management practice for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Boston, MA. Heather is a licensed CPA in the state of Massachusetts and holds a BS degree in business administration and a Master's in Accounting degree from Wake Forest University's Calloway School of Business.

 

*BARBARA L. IBEY

Barbara Ibey is a Senior Investment Operations Manager for the DCIO and has worked for Dartmouth for over 20 years. In addition to portfolio administration responsibilities, she is also the primary contact for receiving gifts of securities in-kind.

 

 Kerri A. Gandin

Kerri Gandin is a Senior Investment Operations Manager for the DCIO. Prior to joining Dartmouth in November 2013, Kerri worked in asset management at AEW Capital Management in Boston, and in years prior, at Ernst & Young, where she served in the assurance and advisory practice. Kerri is a CPA in the state of Massachusetts. Kerri holds a BS degree in business administration from Merrimack College and a Master's in Accounting degree from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management.

 

Joseph Celli

JOSEPH R. CELLI '11

Joe Celli, Investment Associate for Portfolio Strategy, joined the DCIO in March 2014. Prior to joining Dartmouth, Joe was a senior consulting associate at Cambridge Associates where he worked with a range of client portfolios for foundations, endowments, and family offices. Joe graduated from Dartmouth College in 2011 with an AB degree in mathematics and economics.

 

MAX R. PASTERCZYK

Max joined the Dartmouth College Investment Office in February 2019 as a Director for the private equity and venture capital portfolios. Prior to Dartmouth, Max worked at the investment office for Columbia University from 2012-2018. He graduated summa cum laude from Tulane University in 2012 with degrees in finance and economics. Max has been a CFA charterholder since 2016.

 

 Michal Pramik

MICHAL PRAMIK

Michal Pramik, Investment Associate, focuses on real asset strategies including real estate and natural resource investments. Michal joined the DCIO in June 2015. Prior to joining, Michal was an associate investment director at Cambridge Associates. Michal graduated with distinction and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Virginia in 2011 with an AB degree in economics, and is a CFA charterholder.

 
JON XU '15

Jon Xu, Senior Investment Analyst, focuses primarily on global equities and fixed income. Jon joined the DCIO in July 2017. Prior to joining Dartmouth, Jon was an equity research associate at Putnam Investments, where he covered small- and mid-cap consumer and technology companies. Jon graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College in 2015 with an AB degree in economics; he has passed all three levels of the CFA Program and may be awarded the charter upon completion of the required work experience.

 

LEAH ANDERSON

Leah Anderson, Senior Investment Analyst, focuses on private equity and venture capital investments. Leah joined the DCIO in October 2018. Prior to joining Dartmouth, Leah was an Investment Analyst at TIFF Investment Management, a not-for-profit outsourced CIO organization. Leah graduated from Bowdoin College in 2015 with a BA degree in mathematics.

 

 Danielle Skehill

DANIELLE M. SKEHILL

Danielle is the Executive Assistant to the Chief Investment Officer, Alice Ruth. Danielle joined the DCIO in September 2017. Prior to joining Dartmouth, Danielle spent over 6 years at Bain Capital in Boston where she supported two managing directors in the North American private equity group. Danielle has over 20 years' experience in administrative roles.

 

Maria Rublev

MARIA RUBLEV

Maria Rublev, Office Manager/Executive Assistant, joined the DCIO in September 2011. Maria serves as the primary point of contact for the Boston office and provides administrative support to the team. Maria holds an AB degree in psychology and HR management from York University, Canada.

 

KATHRYN ESTY

Kathryn Esty, Administrative Assistant, supports the Deputy CIO and Managing Director of Private Equity and Venture Capital. Kathryn joined the DCIO in July 2018. Prior to joining Dartmouth, she served in nonprofit program support roles in Boston and worked at KCIC in Washington, DC. Kathryn graduated from the University of Richmond in 2012 with a BS degree in business administration and an AB degree in Latin American and Iberian studies.

 

*ERIN SHEEHAN

Erin Sheehan, Investment Operations Assistant, supports the COO and the work of the Investment Operations team. She joined the DCIO in August 2018. Prior to Dartmouth, Erin was an intern with State Street’s foreign exchange execution platform, FX Connect, and spent one year as an implementation specialist at MEDITECH Inc. Erin graduated from Nichols College in 2017 with a BS degree in business administration.
