Jared, Mark, Quan, and Steve recenlty departed the group to pursue new careers in academia and/or industry. Wishing them all the best at their new positions. At the same time Chase and Laura (undergrads) joined us - welcome to the group!

The group pulished a number of papers about the new photohromic hydrazones and their use in manipulating liquid crystal properties, and polymer actuation. Check the publication section for more details. Jared and Mark published a PNAS perspetive about new molecular switch architecutres, Ivan became a Fellow of the Royal Society of Fellows, and we got new funding through NSF MSN. So we have been busy!
