Andrew Davidson joined the Dartmouth Advancement team as vice president for development in December 2014. His development leadership experience includes 12 years at Harvard University where he guided major investments in interdisciplinary research and financial aid and the early architecture of Harvard’s $6.5 billion comprehensive campaign. At Harvard he served as assistant dean of resource development at the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) and the Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS). In this role he was the senior fundraising strategist for the $450 million SEAS campaign. Andrew also served as executive director of capital giving in the FAS, overseeing the management and operational strategy of the Department of Capital Giving and leading in the early planning stages of Harvard’s campaign. Andrew has worked in additional fundraising roles including managing the Boston Major Gifts Committee and coordinating fundraising needs of the Harvard University Center for the Environment. Prior to joining Harvard, Andrew worked at investment firms A.G. Edwards & Sons and Putnam Investments.

Andrew received a BA in English and history from Rutgers University. He is an accomplished rower and enjoys a range of outdoor activities.
