Teaching Science Roundtable

In these informal half-day sessions Dartmouth faculty join science and math teachers in the region to explore common themes in teaching science: What keeps students engaged in science? How do we measure learning? How do we incorporate current research in the classroom? Dartmouth's Teaching Science Roundtables are co-facilitated by a Dartmouth faculty member and a teacher from a regional school district. One goal of these sessions is to explore ways Dartmouth science faculty and local teachers can collaborate to enhance student learning. Roundtables are held in Dartmouth's Center for the Advancement of Learning (DCAL) at Baker Library and are co-sponsored by Dartmouth's Office of Outreach and DCAL.
