Support Your Peers Through the Lone Pine Recognition Program for Dartmouth College Staff

The Lone Pine Recognition Program provides a variety of ways in which we recognize employees for their outstanding contributions to Dartmouth. This comprehensive program aims to foster a deeper culture of appreciation across campus by recognizing the efforts of our colleagues; promoting collaboration and teamwork; acknowledging the value of diversity and inclusion; and honoring staff who excel at their jobs and exhibit behaviors that model the core values of the College.

Help Yourself and Your Office be Healthy!

  • Healthy Departments: Use the healthy department toolkit for ways to help yourself and your department stay healthy in 2020. And, check out our latest bulletin board posts; you could even use these to create a bulletin board in your department (we update our posts every month)!
  • Take Energy Breaks: Adding more movement in your day and staying energized is important so don't forget to take an energy break a few times each day! Energy breaks are short 2-5 minute breaks, such as a stretch, a stair climb, a mindful minute or a quick walk. They can help you replenish your energy, feel less stressed and fuel productivity. Looking for energy break ideas? Click here.

Use the Volunteer Time Off Policy to Make a Positive Difference in Your Community

The Dartmouth College Volunteer Time Off Policy allows all regular benefits-eligible employees up to one day of paid time off from regularly scheduled work hours each fiscal year (July 1 - June 30) to perform volunteer services through organizations affiliated with the United Way.
