Join Team "Wellness Heroes" at the CHaD HERO event on October 18th!

This team of faculty, staff, family, and friends is on a mission to help all kids served by CHaD by providing funding for critical programs. Be a HERO and register for the 5K walk or run, the 10K wooded hike, the half-marathon, the Cam's Fun Run for kids, or volunteer and help raise funds for CHaD!

Strava lets you track your running and riding with GPS, join Challenges, share photos from your activities, and follow friends.

GAIN app  

GAIN can customize your workout based on your fitness goals, the time you have to exercise, and the equipment available.

iTreadmill App  

Even if you never take it out of your pocket, iTreadmill will track your steps, distance and average speed.

iFitness app  

Use iFitness to find the right exercises for the muscles you want to work. You can also watch 100 instructional videos for tips on technique.

GymGoal ABC  

GymGoal ABC teaches you weight-lifting fundamentals.

RunKeeper Pro  

RunKeeper Pro download and the GPS technology tracks your route and speed. When your work is done, that data is automatically uploaded to the RunKeeper website! A history of the paths you've traveled (including elevation) and can be shared on Facebook or Twitter using a built-in option.


c25k app  

If you are a newbie with ambitions, C25K (Couch to 5K) acts as a guide. Over nine weeks, you are prompted through 30 to 40 minute sessions of increasing intensity, designed to improve endurance.


All the "bells and whistles" seem to be included in FitnessBuilder, which has over 200 workouts, more than 2,0000 images and videos, five fitness timers, a tracker, and lots of calculators. You can even ask the "resident" exercise physiologist a question!

My Fitness Pal  

Calorie Counter in My Fitness Pal has the single largest food database of any Android app with over 750,000 foods and counting. It also allows for both food and exercise entry.

Nike + GPS App  

Map your runs, track your progress, and get the motivation you need to keep going. The Nike+ Running app tracks distance, pace, time and calories burned with GPS, giving you audio feedback as you run.

 Practice yoga any where and any time with Pocket Yoga. Gaia Flow Yoga created unique and creative flows to help you maintain your practice. It's perfect for all ages, gender and skill level.


ab workout


 Break away from boring ab workouts, with the Ab Workout app. This four-week training program helps you stay on track and develop a lean six-pack. Take the exercise videos to the gym, or at home to get a solid workout in. It's easy to use and keeps you challenged.
