Caroline Kerr is an education leader and strategist who builds and advises startups and nonprofits. She previously served as CEO of the Joyce Ivy Foundation, a nonprofit that broadens the college aspirations and leadership development of talented young women.

Ms. Kerr received her AB from Dartmouth in sociology modified with women's and gender studies and a minor in education and human development. She received her EdM from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in Higher Education and was a recipient of Harvard's Intellectual Contribution/Faculty Tribute Award. While at Harvard, Ms. Kerr worked with the Consortium On Financing Higher Education (COFHE), an organization of highly selective liberal arts colleges and universities that are committed to financial aid policies that meet students' full demonstrated need and engage in the routine sharing of data and research.

As an undergraduate at Dartmouth, Ms. Kerr was a member of Palaeopitus, Tucker Fellow, undergraduate advisor, Admissions Office intern, member of the women's crew team, and DOC Trip Leader Trainer. An active Dartmouth alumna, Ms. Kerr served two terms as president of DGALA, Dartmouth's LGBTQIA+ alum association, as well as on the Alumni Council, Communities Executive Council, Club And Group Officers' Executive Committee, Class of 2005 Executive Committee, and Women of Dartmouth launch team. She is the two-time recipient of the Jonathan Clarkson Gibbs 1852 Group Leader of the Year Award and a recipient of the Young Alumni Distinguished Service Award.

Ms. Kerr serves on several boards and has served as the trustee liaison for the advisory boards of The Dartmouth Center For Social Impact, William Jewett Tucker Center for Spiritual and Ethical Life, and Nelson A. Rockefeller Center for Public Policy and Social Sciences. She lives in Hanover, New Hampshire, with her wife, Dr. Darcy A. Kerr, Geisel '10, and their three children.
