Student Interns

Dartmouth College has entered into an agreement with the University of Rome “La Sapienza,” at its “Facoltà di Lettere e Filosofia,” with the purpose of promoting intercultural exchange between our educational institutions. Students of Rome University who are studying on a variety of academic programs (undergraduate and masters) apply for internships at the Dartmouth College Rome Center during which they engage in cultural mediation, coordinate activities, and assist students informally with Italian language learning. When interns have completed 150 hours of volunteer work, they receive one course credit toward their degree.
Informal parties, walks, soccer games, going to clubs, museum visits, and trips to the flea market are typical opportunities for getting together in Rome.
