Invitation for Public Comment

Dartmouth College will undergo a reaccreditation evaluation visit November 14-17, 2010, by a team representing the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). Dartmouth has been accredited by the Commission since 1929 and was last reviewed in 1999. For the past 18 months, Dartmouth has engaged in a self-study, addressing the Commission’s Standards for Accreditation. The NEASC evaluation team will visit Dartmouth to confirm that the self-study is thorough and accurate. The team will recommend to the Commission a continuing status for the institution.

The Commission cannot settle disputes between individuals and institutions. Individuals considering submitting complaints against an affiliated institution should contact the Commission Office.
