Dartmouth Travel Guidance Updated June 11, 2020 Travel Dartmouth

On June 18th, OMB released OMB Memorandum M-20-26, Extension of Administrative Relief for Recipients and Applicants of Federal Financial Assistance Directly Impacted by the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) due to Loss of Operations.

M-20-26 provides Heads of Executive Departments and Agencies authority to extend several, but not all, of the flexibilities that were included in OMB Memorandum M-20-17. NIH and NSF have issued memoranda implementing M-20-26, but these documents repeat the language used in M-20-26.  The OMB notice also imposes additional requirements on salary charge flexibility.   Please contact OSP with questions and review updated agency notices.   OSP will release guidance on the implementation of the new OMB memorandum.

Questions: Please contact OSP or refer to the COGR website for links to COVID sponsor information.   If you have questions about specific awards, please reach out to sponsored.projects@dartmouth.edu prior to calling your sponsor.  Do not hesitate to reach out to email sponsored.projects@dartmouth.edu. A common question will be travel costs associated with cancelled travel. We expect guidance from federal agencies soon on this issue.
