Hi! I’m Fatema, I’m a ‘22 from New York, NY. At Dartmouth, I am a Biology major and a German minor. I am a research assistant in a biochemistry lab at Geisel, studying tunneling nanotubes in pancreatic cancer. I am a junior facilitator with the Movement Against Violence and I enjoy working with kids throughout the Upper Valley and individuals affected by dementia through the Memory Cafe. I am interested in the biological correlates of illness and I hope to combine my excitement for science with an appreciation of the global human cost of disease, environmental and racial injustice, and transnational migration.
