Synopsis
This color promotional film for potential applicants to Dartmouth College follows a fictional freshman, "Peter," through his first days on campus and around Hanover. Using first-person narration, he introduces various facets of student life and meets professors and administrators who discuss the College. He describes his first week at Dartmouth through a letter home to his parents.
The film includes scenes of various buildings on campus and a full tour of Baker Library including the Orozco Mural. Several scenes of the Dartmouth Outing Club, the Dartmouth Flying Club, and the Dartmouth Camera Club are also included.
