Overview

During the spring 2022 term, IDE will host community engagement sessions with campus stakeholders including students, staff, and faculty. During these discussions, individuals and groups will have the opportunity to engage with proposed DEI priorities and offer feedback. The information gathered in these sessions will be used to help develop our new institutional DEI strategic plan intended for release in fall 2022.

Session description

Members of the Dartmouth community are invited to register for one of the following 60–90-minute virtual sessions.

In order to engage fully in this process and understand the work that has been completed to date, we ask that all individuals who plan to attend be present for the opening presentation that will take place in the first 20 mins of each session.

During the session, IDE staff will briefly present the draft strategic framework including four identified priority areas and objectives for advancing change over the next 2-3 years. Following this brief presentation, individuals will attend small breakout rooms where they will have an opportunity to engage in dialogue about the proposed priority areas and provide feedback on the intended objectives. Each room will have a facilitator and will provide multiple methods for individual contributions including sharing ideas aloud, submitting feedback via Zoom chat, or contributing to a shared Google document.
