There are three bus services available to the Dartmouth Community

  • Advance Transit (802) 295-1824 (free for the entire Dartmouth community)
  • Stagecoach (802) 728-3773 (free for commuting employees)
  • The Current (888) 869-6287 (free for commuting employees)

An app that allows you to track the real time location of Advance Transit busses was developed in partnership with Thayer engineering students.  You can download the app on the iTunes App store or the Android Play store.

Advance Transit

Blue Route serves downtown Hanover, Lebanon, DHMC, Enfield and Canaan

Red Route serves downtown Lebanon, West Lebanon, and the Route 12A shopping plazas

Orange Route serves White River Junction, West Lebanon, and downtown Hanover

Green Route serves West Lebanon, Hartford Village, Wilder and downtown Hanover

Brown Route serves Norwich, downtown Hanover (CRREL) and Kendal


Stagecoach transit connects the people of Orange and Windsor counties of Vermont to the Dartmouth campus, with stops at park-and-rides along I-89 and I-91 north of Hanover

The Current

The Current connects people along I-91 south of Hanover with Dartmouth, with stops at park-and-rides in Bellows Falls, Springfield, Ascutney, and Hartland.
