Office Ergonomics

Office workstation ergonomics addresses the fit between the person, the task, and the environment to help prevent injury, optimize productivity, and promote safety and health.  Creating a good office workstation arrangement and using good work methods are important actions to promote health at work and at home.
Several resources are available on this page to help you learn about office ergonomics, stretching, mouse use, and sit/stand stations.  Click here to access the online Office Workstation Ergonomics Training.
Ergonomic assessments are available to Dartmouth employees.  Please email Molly Rhoad in EHS if you would like to schedule an assessment.  Please note that the online Office Workstation Ergonomics Training must be completed prior to the assessment.
