Sunnie has been a member of the D4C community since 1987! In addition to her D4C career, she has worked with children who have differing abilities, directed a small toddler program, was the Curriculum Manager for Northern Lights at CCV and an instructor at the Community College of Vermont.
As a D4C teacher, Sunnie worked with every age group represented at D4C. She became the Assistant Director in 2010 and the Director when she returned from Northern Lights at CCV in 2018.
Sunnie holds three degrees related to early childhood education and has many years experience as a teacher, supervisor, trainer, and higher education instructor.
Sunnie has three grown children who all have lives of their own and keeping in touch with them makes Sunnie very happy. Sunnie enjoys living life to the fullest (she has even jumped out of an airplane) and helping others enjoy life as well.
