Katy Deel

My name is Katy, and I recently moved to the area from southern Indiana; I absolutely love it so far! I’ve worked in childcare and education for over five years, most recently as a fourth-grade teacher. I deeply value love, relationship-building, equity, and leaning into the unique interests of each child to help them learn and grow. I’m so excited to let my passion for early childhood shine through in such a nurturing, high-quality environment and to build meaningful connections with my students, co-workers, and families. In my free time, I enjoy music (especially Taylor Swift), animals, traveling, baking, and lifelong learning.
