Hello, My name is Brendita Barnes, I was born and raised in Lebanon, NH. My mother is from Puerto Rico, my father was born and raised here and worked at the Hanover Fire Department as a firefighter and an EMT.
Before DCCCC I taught kindergarten at the Lebanon Montessori Discovery School for over 20 years. Throughout those years I had gone through many positions, asst. teacher, lead teacher, kindergarten teacher, and supervisor. I received my Montessori diploma in 2010. I also studied at St. Louis MO. University and received my Child Development Associate (CDA). I continued furthering my education at River Valley Community College. When my daughter was young, I was asked to be a sub in her school, that is when I realized how much I enjoyed children and began pursuing a career in Early Childhood Education.
In my free time I enjoy spending time hiking, camping, cookouts, campfires, and so much more that involves nature!
I am very excited to be a part of DCCCC and can’t wait to share my knowledge as well as learn from the staff at DCCCC.
