08/30/2021: IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Immediate change to required COVID surveillance testing frequency for DBIC access

Dear Mrusers,

On Friday, the College announced a change to the required frequency for COVID surveillance testing, effective today (Mon, 8/30). Please note that effective immediately, access to the DBIC will require DBIC staff, research personnel, and Dartmouth-affiliated participants to be following the updated surveillance testing requirements.

Faculty / staff / postdocs / graduate students accessing campus who are:

  • Fully vaccinated - now required to test once per week
  • Unvaccinated - required to test twice per week

As of August 30, the testing site is in:  West Gym, Alumni Gym, 16 E. Wheelock Street. Additionally, the College also announced a transition to take-home testing kits for surveillance testing, and we will share information about this as soon as we have it. For now, please complete your testing at the required frequency at the Alumni Gym location.

Please note that College communications and websites are still in the process of being updated but I have confirmed this testing frequency update with HR and the Graduate School.  We do not have any new information on the testing frequency for undergraduates, which may impact labs who have undergrad research personnel and research participants, but I'll keep you updated as I receive information.

Access to Moore Hall continues to require everyone (including Dartmouth-affiliated research participants) to be following the community health and safety policies in place for campus access, including those for:

It is critical that we all continue to do our part to protect community health and adhere to the access requirements. Our goal is to keep our vibrant neuroimaging research community healthy and fully open, and this requires full community cooperation from DBIC users. I thank you, as always, for your ongoing patience and support.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Take care,

Courtney
