*at-a-glance*
X.ado (pronounced:
ZAH-doh) is Dartmouth College's co-ed Christian a cappella group.
That means:
- We live up in the boonies of New
Hampshire, where "warm" currently means any temperature in positive
double digits. Unfortunately, this is not an exaggeration. Fortunately, we
have running water and modern heating.
- There are X and
Y chromosomes in the group; some of us have just X
chromosomes and some have both X and Y.
- In this life, all of us cling to the truth that is
Jesus Christ. We don't all have the exact same
beliefs, but to all of us, HE is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He is the

- Make music without instruments!
This involves a mix of singing real words, made-up words (jen doo bahp
weeaaorw doh), and various percussive sounds. Our repertoire consists of
mostly contemporary songs of various genres, and a few more choral songs. We
also make attempts at humor by creating skits,
comedic and otherwise, that we perform during our sets.
