PRESENTER BIO

Glenn Fleishman writes about Web publishing and electronic commerce from his home in Seattle. In 1994, he founded one of the very first Web development companies, hosting PhotoDisc, Peachpit Press, Pacific Coast Feather, Atlas Model Railroad Company, and other medium-sized businesses.
The former catalog manager at Amazon.com, Inc., he is a contributing editor at Adobe Magazine and contributes columns and features for the New York Times and Business 2.0 magazine, as well as consults for Powell's Books, the largest independent bookstore in the U.S.
He recently completed co-authoring Real World Adobe GoLive 4 for Peachpit Press about a leading Web publishing and site management tool, and is beginning to write a book on analyzing and understanding usage and tracking of users on a Web site.
Despite all this technological focus, Glenn has a degree in Art with a concentration in graphic design from Yale University, and tries to keep focused on the big picture, not the mechanisms.
