Director, Academic Computing, Dartmouth College
The term "learning spaces" is being used to indicate a broadening of the "space" in which learning can happen. There are formal, informal, as well as virtual learning spaces. This presentation will focus primarily on informal learning spaces, and cover how current designs, informed by learning principles and the requirements of the current generation of students, are promoting learning by promoting access.
