This tutorial
provides instruction on creating a coherent and
inviting scientific poster. In its original form,
this material was a real-time, live lecture and
slide show presented to WISP interns a few weeks
prior to the annual symposium at which they exhibit
their research posters. Click here for information
on the annual Karen
E. Wetterhahn Science Symposium.
Initiated in 1992,
the number of symposium participants has since then
more than doubled, and the number of symposium
attendees has grown along with it. Thus, in an
effort to make poster production information
available to a wider audience, WISP has established
this web site. We gratefully acknowledge the
support of a Presidential venture fund for
improvements in undergraduate education supported
by a grant from the William and Flora Hewlett
Foundation. We hope you find it helpful! Be sure to
give us feedback at the end.
