Call for Mentors
You can help mentor aspiring scientists and engineers by being a MentorNet mentor. MentorNet is the e-mentoring network for diversity in engineering and science.
MentorNet’s One-on-One Mentoring Program pairs male and female undergraduates, graduate students, postdocs and junior faculty as proteges with female or male professionals from all sectors as mentors for one-on-one, email-based mentoring (e-mentoring) relationships.

The program has proven effective by providing “real world” information, encouragement, advice, and access to networks that are otherwise often unavailable to underrepresented groups. This is why more than 90% of participants would recommend MentorNet’s e-mentoring programs to a friend or colleague.
Go to MentorNet.Net: Sign in to the Community and follow the One-on-One links to create a profile.
For questions, contact: Kathy Scott Weaver, WISP Assistant Director and MentorNet campus representative for Dartmouth. To see news and upcoming science luncheons, check the Upcoming Events Calendar on the WISP homepage.
