Study Groups - Study groups are a tremendous asset to students who have regular questions or want a better understanding of the material. Sign up online.
Organic Chemistry Online
Tutorial - tutorial for structure and bonding, spectroscopy, stereochemistry,
reactions, and more. The original version should suffice. It looks like a good one!
tutorial site - tutorial for several of the basic 51/52, 57/58 concepts
and reactions. The tutorials are presented as Shockwave movies. You'll
need the Shockwave plugin and I recommend
using a high speed connection since the files are ~ large. (Colby College)
cards - also part of the Colby College organic website.
Reveiw Material can be found in Blackboard.
Ion transport and crown ethers
Ionic Bonds - Weak or Strong? (an interesting
bridge between cell biology and organic chemistry)
Drugs (and a few other antibiotics)
The NIST Chemistry WebBook
can be a useful source of information for physical constants, spectra,
and lots of other valuable information. The site can be especially useful
for the organic and physical chemistry students!
