In fall 2008, Dartmouth committed to reducing campus greenhouse gas emissions by 30 percent below 2005 levels by 2030, starting with a 20 percent cut by 2015. The five stories in this exhibition highlight some of the ways in which hundreds of Dartmouth students, engaged in more than a dozen organizations, have embraced the challenge of curbing climate change by reducing our carbon footprint.
"The exhibition celebrates a few of the many creative and dedicated students at Dartmouth whose efforts are defining the forefront of campus sustainability," says Sustainability Manager Kathleen Lambert '90. "It also provides information on concrete actions people can take to reduce their own carbon footprint."
The exhibition was designed by Jermaine Johnson, with photography by Joseph Mehling '69, both of the Office of Public Affairs.
