The Hanover Area Farmers Market on the southeast corner of the Green every Wednesday boasts live music, locally grown produce, and handmade crafts from a range of Upper Valley farms and artisans. Vendors offer everything from kettle corn, crêpes, and cheese to fresh flowers, wood crafts, and note cards. The atmosphere is family friendly, and many shoppers enjoy picnicking on the Green.

“The Hanover Area Farmers Market is thrilled to be on the Green this year. It has been a boost for the vendors, the customers, and the community at large,” says Sally Wilson, market manager. “Our goal as a sustainable agriculture farmers market is to have at least 60 to 70 percent agriculture-related vendors. We are full for this season and feel confident that our first year on the Green will be considered a success.”
The market is hosted by the Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce, sponsored by White Mountains Insurance Group, and supported by the Town of Hanover and Dartmouth College.
Wednesdays through September 30 • 3-6 p.m. • Dartmouth Green • information at www.hanoverchamber.org or (603) 643-3115
