Dartmouth's annual Faculty Achievement Awards, presented this term by the Office of the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, recognize outstanding scholarship and teaching. Of the 11 faculty honored this year, Dean of the Faculty Carol Folt says, "Each of the awardees is an innovative scholar, dedicated to sharing their deep knowledge and excitement of learning with students in disciplines spanning the arts and sciences, as well as with their colleagues around the world. It is wonderful to recognize and thank them for their many contributions with these awards."
