You're Invited: Community Welcome for President Kim July 1

 

Join the Dartmouth community in welcoming President Jim Yong Kim on his first day on the job, Wednesday, July 1.

The event is hosted by students and starts on the Green at 3:30 p.m. Ice cream from Walpole Creamery in New Hampshire will be scooped by students, deans, and President Kim. There will be live music, and the Hanover Farmer’s Market will be in full swing along College Street.

President Kim will be meeting hundreds of staff members, faculty members, and students as he begins his tenure as Dartmouth’s 17th president. Learn more about President Kim and follow his first days in office at www.dartmouth.edu/~president (site goes live July 1).
