Laura Dukeshire

Administrative Assistant to the Director of Outdoor Programs

On the Job: Officially, Dukeshire provides administrative assistance to the Director of Outdoor Programs, but day-to-day, her job mostly entails “running interference” and “directing traffic.”

“Different Every Day”: Dukeshire’s job is characterized by student interaction—her desk is adorned with decorations and personal notes from students. September, when Robinson Hall serves as the base for First-Year Trips, is the “biggest and best” part of her year.

Career Path: Dukeshire has been at Dartmouth for 22 years. She previously held positions at the Hanover Inn and the Dartmouth Medical School.
