Immanence and Revelation:The Art of Ben Frank Moss

"The mystery of life is what we're reflecting on by way of producing the art. It's a means, in my mind, of trying to give voice to what lies beyond-that indefinable something." - Ben Frank Moss, the George Frederick Jewett Professor of Studio Art

Ranging from luminous landscapes to intimate still lifes, Moss's works reveal a fascination with color, essential forms, and a presence beyond the subject at hand. Moss will also deliver an opening lecture for the exhibition, which honors his 20 years at Dartmouth.
