Convocation and Community Cookout

Following Convocation-with speakers President James Wright; Thomas Clark '92, DMS '01, founder of Grassroot Soccer; and Molly Bode '09, Student Assembly president-join faculty, students, and staff at the Community Cookout hosted by President James Wright and Susan DeBevoise Wright. The cookout, catered by Dartmouth Dining Services (DDS), is a waste-free event, an initiative started in 2007 that reduced the amount of trash produced from 700 to 70 pounds. DDS Director Tucker Rossiter says, "We welcome the opportunity to mark the beginning of another year in a sustainable way."
