Three state Supreme Court justices who have participated in landmark rulings from their respective courts on same-sex marriage—Robert J. Cordy '71 of Massachusetts, Joette Katz of Connecticut, and James Morse '62 of Vermont—will present a public panel discussion as part of the Law Week three-day program. "Same-sex marriage is often viewed as the civil rights issue of our time," says N. Bruce Duthu '80, professor of Native American studies and convener of the Legal Studies Program, which is hosting the event.
