The Dartmouth Wind Symphony's 24th annual Study Break Concert, sponsored by President James Wright, will feature American favorites-including John Phillip Sousa's "Stars and Stripes Forever"-and a medley of traditional Dartmouth songs, with solos by seven seniors. "This will be my last [concert] after 25 years at the helm," says Max Culpepper, director of the wind symphony and the marching band. "The DWS always plays with a joyful spirit and I will miss them. They are truly sons and daughters of Dartmouth and they never fail to play from the heart!"
