Woodsmen's Weekend

The Dartmouth Outing Club continues its year-long centennial celebration by hosting the 63rd annual Woodsmen's Weekend. Students from 13 colleges will compete in events such as crosscut saw, portage canoeing, and the fire build. New this year is birling, a competition between students balancing on floating logs. Alix Perez-Lawrence '10, a director of the event, says spectators are often "astounded that Dartmouth has a team of competitive lumberjacks." Click here for more information.
