Milk

Winner of two Academy awards (best bctor and best original screenplay), Milk tells the story of Harvey Milk (Sean Penn), a gay activist who was elected to San Francisco's Board of Supervisors in 1977, only to be assassinated one year later.

After the film, Dartmouth and DHMC employees are invited to "Milk and Cookies," an After Hours program co-sponsored by the Dartmouth LGBT Network. Join network members for refreshments and a discussion of the film led by Assistant Dean of Student Life Pamela Misener.
