Debit Cards Simplify Medical Flexible Spending Accounts

In January, new Dartmouth Flex Spending Debit Cards will be available to all faculty and staff enrolled in a Medical Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for 2008. The cards can be used to pay directly for medical and dental expenses and in many cases eliminate the need to wait for reimbursement. FSAs allow employees to pay for qualified costs (such as medical co-payments) with money that is not taxed. For more information, contact the benefits office at 646-3588.
