Sherr that was unveiled on Oct. 12, taking its place alongside portraits in the
Class of 1902 Room in Baker Library. “Sherr has wonderfully represented a much
beloved colleague and friend,” said President James Wright. “Several thousand
students have already benefited from the wisdom of the big and small
differences Jim made during his time here, but many more will benefit from the
seeds he laid as dean.” Larimore, currently dean of students at Swarthmore
College, was dean of the College at Dartmouth from 1999 to 2006. (Photo by
